Arvia Active is a design cantered fashion label focused on creating functional, fashion forward, active wear utilizing only sustainable fabrics and methods. With fifteen years experience in the fashion industry, award winning designer Tiffany Bisley founded Arvia Active out of her passion for travel, fitness, yoga, fashion, design and active living in the sun and by the ocean.
Arvia derived from Latin meaning “from the seashore” which represents the central ethos of the brand born on the beaches of Bali Indonesia in 2017 and developed and manufactured on the island. Taking influence from the ocean in both palette, form and function, Arvia Active evokes a feeling of excitement, laughter, active energy as well as lazy days on the beach. When you are in tune to your environment in a place like Bali, inspiration flows and the energy speaks through the designs.
It’s from Tiffany’s deep respect of the natural environment that Arvia Active was developed with sustainability as a core value. The fabric used for Arvia swim wear is made and sourced directly from Italy where it’s created from 100% recycled post-consumer plastics and proven to be more resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils than its counterparts on the market. The fabric is then sent to Bali and is hand crafted on a small scale in local factories that work closely with Tiffany to develop each design.
The purpose of the brand is to take you back to the carefree moments spent at the beach, tasting the salt in the air while feeling the sand between your toes. Arvia Active takes you both to the silent halls of the morning sunrise all the way through to the sunset drinks with friends. At the same time, never wavering on a commitment and passion for strong design and craftsmanship.
Just as water is both soft and supple but also strong enough to erode stone, Arvia Active is for the woman who doesn’t view strength and femininity as a paradox.
